I’ve been trying to find the right words to put to paper (or in this case, on screen) to describe how magical this wedding was. Truly y’all, I’m still swooning over the details and the palpable love that emanated from the bride & groom. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful California summer day than the one Stephanie and Colin were graced with for their Paradise Falls Wedding in beautiful San Diego, CA.  Perfect bluebird skies welcomed their day and although it was warm, by Bonsall standards it was downright pleasant, especially in the shade.

From the moment I stepped onto the property for my trial run, I knew that Stephanie & Colin’s big day was going to be amazing. I was blown away by the lush landscape, tranquility and most importantly the wonderful staff at Paradise Falls. Stephanie’s eye for color and vision came together beautifully.

And (oh my word) the details… From their hand stamped napkins to thoughtfully arranged florals, everything was so romantic and downright perfect.

The bride was able to incorporate “something old” into her veil with pieces that her own grandmother had worn on her wedding day.

While the ladies prepared for their debut, the gentlemen played a little golf and shared some laughs under the shade of some of the most beautiful palms I’ve seen.

I was thrilled to find that the couple had written eachother heartfelt letters to read before the ceremony. Such an amazing way to calm nerves and bring into focus the reason that they are both there.

The ceremony was so sweet and I’d be lying if I didn’t get a little teared up. Secret? I cry every time! I’m a sap, y’all! I can’t help it. I think you have to be a little sappy & romantic to work in this business. I mean just look at the way they look at eachother. <3

From the moment Stephanie walked down the aisle towards Colin, he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. It was the most endearing gesture… the way he looked at his bride throughout the evening was pure poetry.

Both the Bride & Grooms Family made up part of the bridal party. I absolutely adore the color scheme that they went with. So beautiful!

And we can’t forget the cutest of the bridal party members. Colin & Stephanie’s pup, Baxter. He was such a great sport and had me wondering how I might sneak him into my bag to take home with me.

Stephanie made such a gorgeous bride!

Their reception followed under the millions of twinkling lights and was a crowd pleaser thanks to their wonderful company and entertainment.

I didn’t know the significance of this venue or why the bride and groom had chose it, until the bride’s mother told me that Stephanie and Colin loved the Disney movie “UP”. She began to explain that they even lived in a yellow house just like movie. Paradise Falls was the perfect location to start their adventure as Mr. & Mrs.

Warmest of congratulations to you both. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me with one of the biggest days of your lives. It was an absolute honor. We here at BBP can’t wait to hear where your adventures take you!
