This couple’s love story touches me beyond words. From our first phone conversation to their engagement session, I could feel the love that these two share for each other and their thankfulness to the Lord for bringing them together.

Here are a few of my favorite captures from their special day.

Their ceremony and reception took place at Oaktree Ranch. A beautiful location that was once ran and farmed by her late, great father. Shaded by trees that have stood for as long as Christine could remember, they said their vows and celebrated the union of their families in an absolutely gorgeous setting.

Chris & Christine are so in tune with each other! From the similarities in their names to sharing the same birthday… to name only a few “surface” things. The real testament is the way they leaned on each other without saying a word. As a photographer, I may be unseen for the most part, but I am there watching and documenting the story as it unfolds and I’ve got to say that when one or the other was feeling on edge or emotional, the other was there with a look or a squeeze of the hand that spoke volumes. Those moments when the couple are unaware that I am watching… those are my favorite.

I may be getting a little too personal, but their wedding day struck every chord in my heart because it reminded me so much of my stepdad and my own mother. Let me explain, much like my own stepdad, Chris stepped in and stood by Christine’s children during both pivotal and every day moments. Their family’s speeches touched me so deeply that I felt every word as if it were my own. It takes a special man to help a family grow and flourish and I couldn’t be happier for them.

You could feel the love and happiness not only in the beautiful speeches and kind words, but also in the smiles and visible joy on their family’s and guest’s faces.

Christine’s theme and vision came together perfectly. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception for two very beautiful souls. I am humbled to have been a part of your special day and am so excited for what the future holds for you both.
