I just had to write a little something about this sweet family and their relaxed Maternity Session in Balboa Park. I was contacted about a month ago in regards to photographing this exciting milestone. Jenny had wanted a park like setting and while there are several parks within San Diego County that I love, I frequently come back to Balboa Park for it’s convenience and versatility.

 

We met up on a sunny Saturday morning  and luckily my little spot was empty. We had some great light coming through the pepper trees and the sun had dried the field out wonderfully.

This session reminded me yet again, how much I love natural light, outdoor maternity portraits.

This sweet little guy was an absolute joy with a smile that could melt butter. I am so excited for him to share that infectious grin with his new little brother soon!
