Google “cute” and you’re sure to find a bunch of pictures of sweet little kittens, a puppy chewing on some shoe laces, a hamster with a Mexican hat and surely a picture of Colin and Stephanie?!

 

I left their engagement session with sore cheeks (from smiling, y’all)! Their immense love for one another is clearly evident in every image.

I loved hearing about how Colin proposed to Stephanie. He had planned to take her to dinner at Il Fornaio and then pop the question on the beach, but he didn’t have the logistics worked out completely. However, when Stephanie suggested that they take a stroll to watch the sunset, things unfolded naturally.He had set up a camera on timer to snap a photo of them both (little did Stephanie know, it was actually set to record).  Aside from the steady flow of foot traffic blocking his plan, it was perfect!

We decided to hold their romantic engagement session in historic Balboa Park. I love this location for variety and scenery.
