I met Julia only a few weeks after moving to sunny San Diego. She was planning her wedding on her own because her fiance was deployed with the U.S. Coast Guard. She stressed that she didn’t want to be stressed and that everything about her wedding was going to be laid back. My kinda girl! Let me tell y’all, she wasn’t lying.
The bride and groom were married and held their low key reception at the bride’s mother’s home in beautiful La Jolla, Ca.
Amongst, their closest family and friends, they exchanged smiles, tears and vows. It was extremely intimate and heart warming. Every inch of the property had a touch of love and detail. I felt so honored to be welcomed as one of the family as I did my best to blend in and capture their big day as it unfolded.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Julia & David’s special day. Enjoy!
